Eventually when the time’s up and the end approaches
Fearing the moment my breath fails,
I’m still struggling to pick up the hands of a clock that I can’t hold
The horizon that seemed endless starts to fade out
And even the guiding lights slowly dim away
There is no radiant boy on the other side of the mirror, not anymore
But a man who stares at the reminiscence of the boy
What was lost and what was gained
It lost its meaning long ago
Yes I know the answer is already there
And I know, I can’t trace back the steps
But I will not wander around this endless cycle, waiting for the end
Now, those arrows are aiming for my throat
Sand is slowly trying to bury me alive
Can’t turn back, can’t stay
Time has come to break the fragile shell
I will not trust the lighthouse of lies
My breath remains short, that I won’t waste
Eventually when the time’s up and the end approaches
Fearing the moment my breath fails,
I’m still struggling to pick up the hands of a clock that I can’t hold
The horizon that seemed endless starts to fade out
And even the guiding lights slowly dim away
There is no radiant boy on the other side of the mirror, not anymore
But a man who stares at the reminiscence of the boy
Yeah I know it’s my fault
I am saying goodbye to the self I used to know
The one who pretended to be blind, shoving dirt into the eyes
The one who condemned others because he is weak
To all of it, I bid farewell
I’m leaving this hell of my design.
I will not trust the lighthouse of lies
My breath remains short, that I won’t waste
Raw, expressive, and achieves a remarkable balance between melody and sharp hardcore edge. It presents a type of duality that makes euphony and cacophony sound beautiful together, like rice and beans (a complete protein) :) Love the sound, this split demonstrates impressive talent! Kenny McGalem
